Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse Sound Re-Design

For this sound redesign, I aimed to create an immersive and dramatic atmosphere by blending organic textures with synthetic intensity. Explosions were enhanced through layered firecracker and gunshot recordings, enriched with experimental synthesizers to heighten their impact. Foley work played a crucial role, especially in the dreamy black-and-white sequence, where a rusty metal door creak became the foundation of the ambient layer. I reversed, looped, and processed it with pitch shifting and delay to evoke a dark, surreal tone that mirrors the visuals. Every sound in this scene, from subtle movement to the thunderous ending, was crafted entirely from scratch to reinforce the emotional depth and cinematic tension of the moment.
